Dr. Milu Islam is managing partner of DARMILL GROUP and Executive Vice President of the company’s coaching services organization. He has built his success as a professional coach, accomplished business leader, and internationally recognized scholar, author, and speaker. His expertise includes multiple business functions such as business management, finance, marketing, sales, product development and IT management. As a leader of a variety of business functions and teams within Fortune 500 companies, Dr. Islam has gained vast experience working with business clients globally ranging from start-ups to large scale global corporations. As a published author he received international recognition. He is cited by various scholarly, academic, and peer-reviewed publications such as Trends in Food Science & Technology Journal, Management & Marketing Journal, Journal of Advanced Management Science, and Journal of e-Education, e-Business, e-Management and e-Learning.
Dr. Islam has extensive experience in managing large multi-faced global teams, developing business and IT strategies, product development, global application deployment and production process management. Prior to his appointment as the Executive Vice President, Coaching Services for DARMILL GROUP, he held different leadership and management positions with multiple Fortune 500 companies, and most recently as Director for Software Testing and Quality Assurance for a global brand and payment processing organization where he managed product onboarding of large scale global banks and financial institutions.
Dr. Islam is an active member of the prestigious International Coach Federation (ICF), a Certified Business Coach - AdviCoach, One-year Professional Coach training from University of Miami. He earned his Doctor of Management from University of Maryland University College, and MBA in Business Administration and MA in Leadership from Webster University. His is an expert in evidence based coaching which combines both business practices and academic knowledge to applied coaching.
